Fringe Out

posted by My Saskatoon    |   July 31, 2015 11:58

Kicking off its first night on Thursday, the Fringe Festival is here again! If you are in the city this August long weekend, make sure you check out the Broadway district for all that the Fringe has to offer. From street buskers and vendors, food, arts and crafts, the Fringe Festival sees over 40,000 people filling the streets to check out the local and international vendors and artists! The independent theatre provides you entertainment from local artists as well as international artists and you can see them at the Broadway Theatre. The hours are as follows: Tuesday-Friday, 6:00pm-10:30pm, Saturday/Sunday/Monday, 12:00pm-10:30pm.

Craving ribs? Saskatoon's RibFest is on again this weekend, with professional "ribbers"  from across the nation providing you with ribs and other BBQ to tantalize your taste buds. Bring a blanket and chair to Diefenbaker Park where you will find free admission, parking, live music and games for the kids! It starts at 4:00pm-dusk tonight and 11:00am-dusk Saturday and Sunday. All proceeds go to charity so come on out and support local, give back and eat well!
