By most people's standards, December 1st marked the appropriate time to set up the tree, buy egg nog, and start watching Christmas movies (although many of us starting in on this stuff midway through November!). 2. Calories is hosting a Prairie Sun Brewery beer tasting from 4pm till 7pm tonight. 

3. The Rook & Raven is featuring Ragoût of Braised Oxtail & Mushrooms on House Tagliatelle. Yum.

4. Pucks N' Paws is happening at Sasktel Centre tomorrow. This means pets are welcome at the Blades game, and $5 from every ticket sold will go to local animal shelters. 

5. Today is the Grand Opening of The Lighthouse Pop-Up Shop at The Centre Mall. Give back this weekend by giving the gift of hope, dignity, and change to Saskatoon's homeless.
