Glitter: A Charitable Night of Shopping in Saskatoon

posted by My Saskatoon    |   November 14, 2014 14:24

Local businesses coming together to support local charities and non-profit organizations- this concept is very close to our hearts at My Saskatoon. Through our sister site Give Back Saskatoon (stay tuned for the official launch!), our goal is to encourage the connections among local people, the Saskatoon business community, and the non-profits and charities that are working to create positive change in our city. The people of Saskatoon have such huge hearts, and we absolutely love it when local businesses take the initiative to host events that enable others to come together and get involved in supporting charities and non-profits in Saskatoon. Glitter, a charitable shopping event happening at The Mall at Lawson Heights, is doing just this.

On Tuesday, November 18 from 7-10pm, cross some items off your Christmas shopping list while enjoying great discounts, fun entertainment, food, and prizes. You must have a ticket to attend, and tickets are only available through participating registered non-profits in Saskatoon. Check out the extensive list of organizations here, and get your ticket by contacting the listed non-profit or charity that you most identify with. Tickets are $10 each and 100% of ticket proceeds stay with the organization. Entrance is limited to a specific number of ticket holders, so get yours soon!

Locally owned in Saskatoon, Believe Fit will be featuring a fun Old Hollywood theme, with great discounts, samples, and hourly giveaways. You’ll score an additional discount on winter accessories at locally owned Twisted Goods, in addition to a store-wide discount and refreshments. You can expect big discounts and a variety of contests, draws, and fun at many of the other stores in the mall. What a great way to support local non-profits in our city as you do your Christmas shopping!
